Terms of service
Returns, exchanges and cancellation policies
Because of the nature of our items we can't accept returns or exchanges of our plants, soil or activated charcoal.
We can accept returns of:
Anything that is non-parashible (ie. our planters and vases can be returned if they haven’t been used and can be used for future orders).
We cannot accept returns of:
Seconds
Any items on sale or custom made.
Any products that have been used.
Soil or activated charcoal
Returns must be requested within 3 days of delivery and shipped back to us within 7 days of delivery.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Upon return, the package will be assessed to make sure products are undamaged and we are able to resell. Refunds (not including original shipping cost) will be made to original form of payment.
We ship orders as quickly as possible. We can only process cancellations on the same day the order is placed and - only - if the order has not been started. Any orders that are in the packing process and are canceled may have a restocking fee to cover the cost of work completed. Any orders already shipped cannot be cancelled, please follow the return policy.

Refund Policies
Once a plant leaves Petit Pottery, we can no longer care for the living plant/s that we spend each day caring for.
In the rare case that something happens to them during travel or after they arrive at destination, refunds cannot be provided. We provide easy care instructions for our cactus plant varieties, if you need any additional help let us know.
If you have any questions, concerns, or your item arrived other than expected, please contact us at mypetitpottery@gmail.com within 3 days of package delivery and we will do our best to resolve the issue during business hours Monday-Friday.
Please let us know if you have any questions or issues with your order before you assemble it or leaving a review. We are happy to help with your order.
Shipping Policies
Sending in Australia
Petit Pottery ships items using Parcel Post through Australia Post which is typically delivered within 2-5 business days in the same state and 3-6 business days interstate (metro to metro). If you want to speed up delivery, please let us know and we can arrange that for you at an extra cost.
Damage During Shipping
In the rare case that a piece is damaged in transit, please take a photo of the damaged item and box and contact us at mypetitpottery@gmail.com within 24 hours. We are happy to replace any items that have been damaged due to our error as long as you contact us within 24 hours of receiving the item. Our items are one of kind and as such, we’ll have to organise an appropriate replacement from current and available stock.

Missing and Lost Packages
Most late parcels arrive within 5 business days of their expected delivery date. If the item hasn’t arrived within 10 business days of the expected delivery date, check out the Australia Post website for more information here. The person who placed the order or receiver is responsible for contacting Australia Post office about lost or late packages.
Plant Shipping
Packages should be opened and plants unpacked and assembled as quickly as possible. We recommend opening the package right away to allow for light, but they do not need to be assembled in the planter if you would like for the person you purchased this for to have the fun of assembling. Plants and planters should be assembled and watered within 5-7 days of ordering.
Plants and planters are shipped disassembled so that they do not shift while being shipped. Each comes with easy instructions for assembly and care. Please check your package for all pieces of your order.
Privacy Policies
We will never sell your information.
Personal information we collect:
When you visit the Petit Pottery website (Site), we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the site. We’ll reference this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
“Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. The method in which you’ll manage cookies for your device will be depend on your browser.
“Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
“Web beacons”, “tags”, and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.
Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. We’ll reference this information as “Order Information”.
When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.
How do we use your personal information?
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimise our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
Sharing your personal information

Data Retention
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
Disclaimers
Handmade disclaimer
All of my products are individually handmade and are one of a kind creations. Even though I make every effort to create refined and flawless items, they may still have natural and unique imperfections.
Any item you purchase is one of a kind, there are no two items in my shop that are exactly the same.
Colour disclaimer
Actual colours may vary. This is due to different device screen settings, the lighting in the studio and the variance in the way everyone sees colours. We cannot guarantee that the colour you see accurately portrays the true colour of the product.
Gift orders
All of our orders are beautifully packaged and ready to be given as gifts. We are happy to include a gift message with your order! We will not include a receipt unless otherwise specified. Just let us know that the purchase is a gift and what message you would like to include in the notes section of your cart and we will hand write your message on a gift note!
